House 8 website - including a gallery of house photos

The following is a brief list of places off campus pupils may (and may not) visit. Pupils should study this carefully, because, though a link may not be out of bounds, access may be limited depending on the day or the pupil's year. Please remember that ignorance of the rules is no excuse for breach.

Malvern Girls' College
Boys who wish to visit Malvern's neighbouring girls' college may do so as long as permission is obtained from the housemistress of the house they wish to visit. Boys should be aware of the 'Six inch rule' (a distance of at least six inches should be kept between boys and girls)

Uptown
Up Town is defined as the streets of Malvern north of the college grounds, including Barnard's Green. Up Town is out of bounds in the mornings and on Wednesday afternoons except with Housemaster's permission. Casual and games clothing may not be worn Up Town, except when on Voluntary Service and on Sunday afternoon, or with special permission.

Licensed premises
Upper sixth formers may drink in licensed establishments uptown as long as the boy or girl is over 18, has first requested permission for their housemaster and returns to the house promptly for 11.00p.m. The following is a list of pubs and bars commonly frequented by Malvernians:

Olivers Bar (Belle Vue Terrace)
The Unicorn Inn (Belle Vue Terrace)
The Red Lion (St Anns Rd)

Worcester
Boys in the sixth form may venture into Worcester on Saturday afternoons. Boys should ask the permission of their housemaster after lunch on Saturday. If permission is granted a chit will be given. BOYS MUST REPORT BACK TO THE HOUSE FOR SUPPER!
