Virtual Malvern College Corps

Who could forget wednesdays. The itchy shirts, the precision of the puttees, the tilt of the beret and Mensforth's orienteering class ("..yes you.. the rather rotund fellow with the ginger hair" - why couldnt he just learn the names). 1. Only faggots join the navy
  2. Only geeks join the RAF
  3. Only thick necked rugby players join the marines
  4. And therefore...
  5. Those who dont like the piss being taken out of them join the infantry

  2. the RAF had a hovercraft
  3. and the marines actually seemed to enjoy themselves (though most of them also seemed to enjoy rugby)

Boys were permitted to choose from other, more passive actvities such as community service, environmental studies and flower arranging. Though the CCF ethos was not to bypass these boys entirely. Generally carried on 3.5" floppy in the top left blazer pocket, effectionately reffered to as one's "Risky Disk", the computer version of the world domination game RISK revolutionalised the way many boys learnt the delights and virtues of comaraderie and friendly rivalry...
